End of Year school picnic

Tonight was a picnic for Gabby's class and their family's. We brought a dish to pass and they provided a meat/cheese & rolls platter. The kids had fun playing on the playground and drawing with side walk chalk. Gabby got a little certificate and the cake had all of the kids names on it. June 8 is her last day. Next year my baby will be starting Kindergarten!

Memorial day

We went to the Parade in the morning. The kids had a lot of fun and everyone loved the girls dresses.

After the parade we went over to my brother's grave and planted flowers.

We had a cookout and enjoyed swimming at my parents pond.

23 Week Prenatal

My original appointment was supposed to be yesterday. I thought that it was at 11:30. I had to go to the office that is further away so I got up that way earlier and decided to go to Walmart to kill some time. After that it was about 10:50 so I figured since I still had some time I would wash my Van. When I was done with that I drove over to the Doctors office thinking I was about 20 minutes early but hoping they might get me in sooner. I walked up to the desk to check in and told her my name and The lady was really rude. She said "I have to see if the midwife will still see you since you are late" So I said "well what time is it because my appointment starts at 11:30" She didn't answer me on the time but said "No your appointment was for 11:00 and got up to supposedly go talk to the midwife. I had my phone charging in the van so I couldn't tell what time it was and there was no clock. She came back out and said "Yep you will have to reschedule" So I said "I thought my appointment is at 11:30 and drove all the way up here" So she said she would find me a new appointment at the other office. I said "Well make it for next month then because I cannot come back right away" So she started flipping through a book and I was getting more upset that they couldn't just see me that day. My previous appointment I had waited over an hour to be called in for my appointment and they could not even wait 10 minutes for me!!  Then I told the lady never mind making me an appointment I don't want to come back. As I was walking out she said "What?" so I just said "I don't want an appointment" and I walked out. I was so mad thinking about how many times I have waited on them!! When I got out to my van and called Kevin it was only 11:14 so I know I was not more then 10 minutes late. I think the midwife was behind and used this as an easy way out. There were 3 people waiting in the waiting room.

When I got home I called the midwives that I had gone to when I was pregnant for Avalynn to see if they took my insurance and if they would take me back as a patient. Since there are only 2 of them they can only take a certain number of deliverys each month. September was already full so I couldn't go there. Then I called another doctors office and was put on hold and no one ever came to the phone so I finally hung up after about 20 minutes. About an hour after that My OBs office called and it was a Woman who apologized for what had happened. She said normally should would have been out there and that it would have not happened if she had been there when I came in. She asked if I would come in the next day to be seen. I told her yes I would because I had a few issues I needed to talk to the doctor about anyway and couldn't get in to see anyone else.

At the appointment today I discussed with him how I have been having a lot of cramps. He thinks they are due to the number of kids I have had. He said each pregnancy will sit lower and that is probably why I feel crampy. Also I keep feeling my heart fluttering and he said that is also normal in pregnancy. My blood pressure was 123/78 and the baby's heart rate was 163.  He said my blood sugars are okay and that so far I am controlling them really well with diet. I am up to 25 pounds gained. He didn't say anything about that but I am worried about it since I am already 1 pound over what I gained with Nathan and I have 17 weeks to go! My next appointment is on June 15th.

20 week prenatal

I am a little late posting this. I had the Ultrasound on April 27th and we found out that we are having another little girl. On April 30th was my prenatal appointment. I am up to 18 pounds gained. The baby was estimated to weigh 11 ounces so the rest of that is on me, lol. My blood pressure was 110/70 and the baby's Heart rate was 153. Since I had Gestational Diabetes with Nathan I have to check my blood sugar 4 times a day so that if I get it this time we can catch it early and hopefully keep her from getting as big as he was. So far my sugars have been good. I have had a few of the morning fasting come back a little high but he said they are not consistent enough for them to do anything about it yet. She was moving so much the doctor had a hard time getting her heart rate.Kevin went to the Ultrasound with me and Gabby and my Mom went to the regular appointment with me.
