The girls were both weighed and measured today. Gabby is now 35 pounds and 39 inches. She is in the 75% for both Height and Weight. Avalynn is 25 pounds and 34 inches. She is 25% for weight and 50% for Height. They are both growing really well! Avalynn also had to be checked for her Lead Level today through the Department of Health. The level was the lowest their machine reads so that is great! She will not have to be tested again.

Avalynn Turns Two
Two years goes by so fast! Avalynn has always been so active that she seems older then her age is some ways. She started climbing at about 10 months old and has not stopped since. She can keep up with her older sister Gabby most of the time. They are 14 months apart and play really well together when they are alone. When other kids are around Avalynn plays by herself and Gabby always seems to follow the other kids around.
Avalynn's favorite foods and drink are Chocolate milk, Frosted Mini Wheat cereal, beef ravioli and Oranges, strawberries, blue berries and just about any other fruit. She also Loves Candy and it was one of her first words. We have to keep it up where she cannot get it. She does attempt to climb to where ever it happens to be. So far we are still have a lot of their Easter Candy so we did pretty good keeping it up!
Avalynn's vocabulary has really picked up in the past two weeks. She talks a lot but some of the things she says are only understood by mommy. From being around her all the time I can pick up what she is trying to tell us most of the time. She can say some 2-3 word sentences. My favorite word she says is "Kito", but for some reason it always comes out sounding like "Dada" or "Dado".
When Kevin gets home from work Avalynn always runs to him saying "Hi Da da". She has the sweetest dimples that could melt any heart! We always joke that God made Avalynn extra cute because she can be a little bit naughty and he Knew those dimples would keep her out of trouble!
Here is a picture of Avalynn this morning. After eating the bowl of cereal Kevin poured for her this morning she wanted more so she got the box out and poured herself some.

12 week Prenatal appointment
Not a whole lot to report this time. I was really hoping to get to hear the heartbeat but didn't. The midwife tried for about a minute. She said she "Thought she heard it for a second" but I didn't. I felt like the appointment was a waste of time and gas money. I felt like she was really rushing to get done. I lost one pound since the last appointment but that is probably because I got really sick. So I am up 4 pound total so far.I go back on June 24th for my 16 week appointment.

10 week prenatal checkup.
All my blood work came back okay except that they tested to see if I still have immunity from MMR. That showed that I am no longer immune. They cannot give me the shot while pregnant so I have to get that in the hospital the day after I give birth. I have really bad varicose veins on my legs so the doctor ordered some stockings for those. I have to make an appointment to get fitted for them. My blood pressure was great 106/60. My temperature was 100.3, they asked if I felt sick and I said Yes but I think it is from the pregnancy because I have been throwing up a lot. So not sure why I had a slight fever. They did not check for the heartbeat because he said it is hard to hear before 12 weeks. He said that my uterus feels like it is the right size for 10 weeks. I somehow managed to gain 5 pounds even with all the throwing up, lol. I go back in two week for some reason. My next appointment is May 28th.

Oh the Joys of pregnancy.
Finally the heartburn has faded a lot. Now it has been replaced with Nausea and vomiting. I get through it by reminding myself I only have about 3-4 weeks left of the first Trimester when I should start feeling better. So far this pregnancy has been a lot like when I was pregnant for Gabby. It still does not even seem real to me that we are having another baby. I think since they are not doing an ultrasound until 19 weeks it will seem more real then when I can see the baby. We have not told the girls yet that I am going to have a baby. We are planning on telling them after I get into the second trimester. I don't think Avalynn will really understand but Gabby knows that babies come out of Mommy's tummies.
